Requirements:
- 2-year degree with CADD or electronics emphasis is required; 4-year college degree is desirable

- Strong understanding of manufacturing process such as printed wiring board fabrication, machining, forming, casting and assembly

Responsibilities:
Successful candidate will work under the direction of a Thermal Project Engineer and will be expected to:
- Perform analyses directed towards evaluating thermal designs and predicting the temperatures and detailed
temperature distributions in spacecraft structures;
- Perform thermal design and analysis to support the development of spaceflight caliber hardware;
- Analyze and evaluate temperatures and power requirements to show that specified requirements are satisfied.
- Provide thermal engineering support to NASA, DoD and commercial customers while working in conjunction with a
senior thermal engineer.
Qualifications:
BS or MS degree in Mechanical/ Aerospace Engineering and 2-10 years of experience in the thermal design and analysis
of spacecraft and their systems.
Experience with SINDA, SINDA/ G or SINDA/ FLUINT is highly desired since this is the package they use most often. If
they have SINDA experience most likely it is in the Aerospace industry. They also would like to see experience with radiation and orbital heating SW including the following:
Thermal Desktop, TRASYS, TSS, THERMICA, RADCAD, NEVADA and IDEAS/TMG.
Candidates should have knowledge of radiation and conduction heat transfer.
U.S. citizenship required due to the National Security projects they are supporting.

Senior Thermal Engineer Position
Electronic Cooling Solutions Inc (ECS), head quartered in Silicon Valley, near San Francisco, California, is seeking a thermal engineer with a minimum of 6 years experience doing thermal design, thermal
modeling and experimental work in the electronics industry.
Experience with Flotherm, Icepak or other CFD modeling tools is required. The successful candidate must have experience working on system design, have an understanding of component requirements, and
