Article Guidelines
Individuals/ Companies wishing to contribute articles for possible publication in ElectronicsCooling magazine should first forward their article to:
Email: info@electronics-cooling.com
All articles received will go through an editorial review by our Board of Editors.
Articles must be technical articles. Product promotional articles will be rejected. The following are the requirements that an author should follow for technical articles. Please note that the following mainly concerns the instructions for the final article, after review and acceptation. However, it would facilitate work considerably if the author were to write the article with the following in mind from the start.
- For reporting of units, ElectronicsCooling
adheres to the SI standards, hence, please ensure that all units are in SI and the equivalent Imperial units are put in parenthesis.
- We accept no article that has the slightest hint of commercialism, meaning that
the article is being used to promote a product/service. The article should be unbiased and technical in nature, e.g. no attempt to discuss only the advantages of a certain method or a product. No photographs of
commercial equipment are permitted, unless they add educational value. The mentioning of brand names should be restricted to the minimum.
- 1500 words in length, including references.
- Microsoft Word format. The simplest format is preferred, hence single column and no special features.
- The article may contain 2-3 images with captions. No embedded images in article,
because they lack the required resolution. The artwork should be provided electronically as high resolution (300dpi or better) TIF, GIF, or JPG images. Captions may be included in the Word document with the
article.
- Brief author biography (100 words)
- Color photo of author (electronic or hard copy – artwork resolutions as stated above.)
