Dr Gábor Farkas is Technical Manager at Siemens D in Budapest.
He received his MSc and PhD in electronics engineering from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), Hungary. Since 2000 he has worked for MicReD. His main field has been developing hardware and software tools and measurement technologies for thermal characterization of semiconductor devices. He participates in research on wide band gap devices and power LED devices. He is also an associate professor at BME. He has published over 60 technical papers in journals and in conference/workshop proceedings. He is the author of chapters in technical books on integrated circuit design, measurement of power modules, LED and wide band gap devices.
Remco van Erp received his B.S and M.S degree in mechanical engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology, the Netherlands, in 2014 and 2017, resepectively. He is currently pursuing his PhD degree in microsystems and microelectronics at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Lausanne, Switzerland. His research interest focuses on microfluidics, heat transfer in microstructures and liquid cooling for high power density electronics.
Todd R. Salamon received the Ph.D. degree in chemical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, MA, USA. He is currently a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff in the Opto-Electronic Integration Research Department, Nokia Bell Labs, Murray Hill, NJ, USA, where he has worked on thermal management, microfluidics, transport phenomena in optical fiber manufacturing, design of photonic crystal fibers, and Raman and erbium amplifier dynamics and control in transparent optical networks.
ShriShail is a research and innovation thought-leader in Mechanical-Thermal Engineering with strong expertise in Thermal Design, Fluid Flow Analysis, Energy and Reliability analysis of Electronics. Guggari has an MS degree from the University of Texas and a PhD from AcSIR (an institute of national importance) CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories. He has published research work in ASME, IEEE Journals and Conferences. Currently, Guggari is leading the thermal-mechanical engineering design teams in ATOS, India to deliver cutting-edge, high-performance server products.
Alex Guichard is Senior Product Manager of Optoelectronics Cooling Products at Phononic. He has several years’ experience working with customers to design, develop and engineer new products in the fields of solar, LEDs and thermoelectrics. He received his Ph.D. in Materials Science from Stanford University.
