Princeton Instruments’ new 1024BR CCD camera utilizes a back illuminated CCD with larger depletion region. This allows the camera to achieve much higher quantum efficiency in the NIR region. The camera is optimized to provide the best signal-to-noise (SNR) ration required for challenging NIR applications such as photoluminescence.
