Nordson ASYMTEK earned two awards for innovative technology during NEPCON China 2011. Both the VISION Award from SMT China magazine and the Innovation Award from Electronics Manufacturing (EM) Asia magazine were presented to Nordson ASYMTEK for product excellence in the dispensing category for its jet dispenser for side-view LED manufacturing. This was the fifth year in a row that Nordson ASYMTEK received the SMT China award and the EM Asia award. The SMT China VISION Award honors achievements in China’s electronics manufacturing industry. The EM Asia Innovation Award recognizes top performing companies in the Asian electronics industry for achieving the highest standards for products, materials, and equipment introduced and offered for sale in Asia. Nordson ASYMTEK’s jet dispenser enables sticky silicon phosphor to be dispensed into extremely small and hard-to-reach cavities for side-view LEDs.
